About Us

WHO WE ARE

Youth Visions Project is a Community Engagement Center dedicated to strengthening underserved youth and families in Sacramento through safe, neighborhood-based programs
We exist to build character, support academic success, and equip parents and caregivers with the skills, resources, and support needed to create stable, thriving households. Our work is rooted in prevention, partnership, and trust meeting families where they are and walking alongside them as they grow.

Our Mission

Youth Visions Project is dedicated to strengthening underserved youth and families in Sacramento by providing safe, community-based programs that:

  • Build youth character and leadership
  • Support academic success
  • Strengthen families through education and resources
  • Promote long-term stability and well-being

Our Purpose

Youth Visions Project strengthens youth and families by providing safe spaces, mentorship, and family education through strong community partnerships.

Our Core Belief

When families are supported, youth thrive emotionally, academically, socially, and physically.

Our Core Values

  • Family-Centered

Parents and caregivers are partners—not clients. Families are respected as experts in their own lives.

  • Prevention First

Early support prevents long-term crises. We focus on strengthening families before challenges escalate.

  • Youth Empowerment

Youth voice, leadership, character-building, and vision matter. Young people are active participants in shaping their futures.

  • Community Trust

Relationships drive impact. Trust is built through honesty, consistency, and presence in the community.

  • Dignity First

Every family deserves respect regardless of income, background, or circumstance.

  • Community Accountability

We are accountable to the families we serve, not just to funders or systems.

Strategic Community Partnerships

We work closely with schools, community organizations, and partners to expand our reach and impact.
